Our MISSION
To create a stronger, healthier and safer community through the identification, selection and funding of agencies that best provide programs and services to those in our county with the greatest needs. The primary focus will be on funding programs that address Health, Education & Financial Stability.
“The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones that ultimately do.”
Commitment to Equity
The United Way of Madison County promotes the health, education and financial stability of our community. In order to create a stronger, healthier and safer Madison County, we must do our part to value the lives of all people without regard to race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, national origin or citizenship status, age or ability status.
We will continue to support and fund programs that promote equity, create opportunity and value diversity. Our differences and diverse backgrounds are what make our community rich and vibrant. We expect that our partner organizations, staff, volunteers, board members, donors, and key collaborators uphold these standards as well.

Together we FIGHT. Together we WIN.
We are more than fund-raisers. We are hand-raisers. We raise our hands not only to lead the fight, but to reach out to people who need help. And hope.
We win by living United. By forging unlikely partnerships. By finding new solutions to old problems. By mobilizing the best resources. And by inspiring individuals to join the fight against their community’s most daunting social crises.
So who are the hand-raisers, the game-changers? They’re people who know that at the core of every human being is a desire to do good. Who recognize the power that comes from a shared purpose. Who understand they’re always stronger together than they are alone. It’s people like you.
